Graduation of the WiFi Generation – UCL Rolls Out Free WiFi Across Halls of Residence, Museums and Cafe

UCL (University College London) has today launched a free public WiFi offering at several of its campus sites across the capital. The WiFi will span 21 halls of residence plus the Grant Museum of Zoology, UCL Art Museum, Petrie Museum of Egyptian Archaeology and the Bloomsbury Theatre Café. Rolled out in partnership with leading public WiFi provider, The Cloud, the service will enable guests to go online quickly and easily – allowing access to online tools including educational resources and social media.

Brighton and Hove Albion Football Club has today announced a deal with Sky Bet and The Cloud, which will see free WiFi across all corners of the Amex Community Stadium - spanning the stands, bars, concourses and press area. The LEGOLAND® Windsor Resort has announced it will offer free WiFi to all guests across the Resort from today. The WiFi will give guests easy access to a range of online services including social media platforms and the wider web. “Connected Cymru” – The Cloud Announces WiFi Roll-outs in 18 Welsh Healthcare Locations

The UK’s leading public WiFi provider, The Cloud, has announced two new WiFi partners from the healthcare industry. Adding to its 1000+ WiFi locations in Wales, the company now provides a fast and free connection to Aneurin Bevan and Cwm Taf health boards. It has also begun a trial with NWIS (North Wales Information Services) which supports NHS Wales in the delivery of IT. The deals follow an earlier roll-out in October 2013 with Abertawe Bro Morgannwg (ABM) and will see free WiFi made accessible to over 1.7 million patients every year.
