UCL (University College London) has today launched a free public WiFi offering at several of its campus sites across the capital. The WiFi will span 21 halls of residence plus the Grant Museum of Zoology, UCL Art Museum, Petrie Museum of Egyptian Archaeology and the Bloomsbury Theatre Café. Rolled out in partnership with leading public WiFi provider, The Cloud, the service will enable guests to go online quickly and easily – allowing access to online tools including educational resources and social media.

The UK’s leading public WiFi provider, The Cloud, has announced two new WiFi partners from the healthcare industry. Adding to its 1000+ WiFi locations in Wales, the company now provides a fast and free connection to Aneurin Bevan and Cwm Taf health boards. It has also begun a trial with NWIS (North Wales Information Services) which supports NHS Wales in the delivery of IT. The deals follow an earlier roll-out in October 2013 with Abertawe Bro Morgannwg (ABM) and will see free WiFi made accessible to over 1.7 million patients every year.
