Krispy Kreme introduces free coffee and connections
6th July 2009
Krispy Kreme UK launches free in-store WiFi for those customers looking for an office or home-from-home on-the-go. The initiative has been introduced alongside a new promotion offering customers free filter coffee refills throughout all Krispy Kreme stores.
The free WiFi service, delivered by The Cloud*, will allow Krispy Kreme customers to access the internet using any WiFi enabled device during their time in-store. Giving customers the chance to escape their day-to-day office or home space and experience a sweet treat while they work or surf the web.
Eighteen stores across the country have already been activated with the free service, with further Krispy Kreme outlets expected to follow suit in 2010.
Judith Denby of Krispy Kreme UK, comments on the launch:
“Traditionally our customers have come to stores to relax and unwind with our doughnuts and hot drinks. The new WiFi service and free filter coffee refills mean that they can now kick back for a little longer whether they are busy working on the move or just chilling out and making the most of being online.”
Customers will need to register with The Cloud in order to receive free WiFi access in participating Krispy Kreme outlets.
