Internet access from a park bench

WIRELESS internet access has arrived in St Chad's Park and The Broadway theatre.

Surfers can now view their favourite websites while watching falling leaves at the Chadwell Heath park in Alexander Road or enjoying a coffee at the theatre in Broadway, Barking.

Council chiefs have launched the free wireless internet pilot with IT specialists The Cloud, as part of a three-year project designed to deliver hi-tech services to residents.
